Terms and Conditions of Sale
Delivery Information: To ensure a prompt and efficient delivery please follow these simple instructions:
1. Call 800-220-1200 on the morning (8:00am) of your scheduled delivery and we will give your two hour time frame. We are
unable to change this time.
2. Please have area cleared before delivery.
3. Please have all pictures and/or nails removed from staircase walls.
4. We will remove one piece of old bedding for every piece delivered. Space restrictions prevent us from removing more than
delivered.
5. We do not remove bed frames, waterbeds, open spring units, head and foot boards or adjustable beds.
6. We do not move items to attic or basement areas.
7. If no one is at home to accept delivery, a redelivery fee of $55.00 will apply.
Home Mattress Center's Comfort Guarantee: As a valued Home Mattress Center customer, we will offer you a one-time
satisfaction guarantee on "Premier" mattress sets. A "Premier" mattress set is any set purchased for $799.00 or more. To qualify
for a satisfaction guarantee, you must sleep on your new "Premier" mattress set for a minimum of fourteen (14) days. This will
give you and the mattress a chance to adjust to each other. If after fourteen (14) days you are still not comfortable with your
mattress, please call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-220-1200. We will offer you a store credit for the original set
purchased, less a handling fee depending on size of mattress. The handling fee covers transportation and disposal costs. The fees
are as follows: Twin $129.00 per set, Full $149.00 per set, Queen $179.00 per set, King $199.00 per set. You have up to thirty
(30) days after delivery to request a satisfaction guarantee. The store credit may be used to select any other mattress set of equal
or greater value. You are entitled to Home Mattress Center's everyday low price or any current Home Mattress Center advertised
price. Home Mattress Center employees are not permitted to discount the price below Home Mattress Center everyday low price
or any current Home Mattress Center advertised price. You must pay the difference between the credit issued and the price of
your new selection. If you select a mattress set of lesser value than your original purchase, there will be no refund for the
difference, and you cannot use the difference to purchase other merchandise. Merchandise being exchanged must be free of
stains, abuse and/or damage. There is no satisfaction guarantee on your new selection. Mattresses only do not qualify for the
comfort guarantee.
Adjustable Bed Bases: If there is a problem with an Adjustable Bed Base, please refer to the manufacturers' warranty for their
customer service number and contact them directly. Home Budget Center does not service customer claims concerning
Adjustable Bed Bases. Adjustable Bed Bases are not returnable under Home Budget Center satisfaction guarantee or to Home
Budget Center for warranty issues.
Non-Returnable Items: All bedding is non-returnable once delivered or picked up, unless deemed defective or non-conforming:
floor sample mattresses and box spring/foundations, mattress pads, all merchandise sold "as is," pillows, sheets, beds,
headboards, cots, rollaway cots, "special" orders and non-"Premier" mattresses and box springs/foundations. A "Premier"
mattress set is any set that is purchased for $799.00 or more. Delivery fees are non-refundable.
Please Take Notice: Staining and/or soiling of a mattress or box spring/foundation automatically voids any warranty. The
manufacturer will not authorize Home Mattress Center to affect an exchange for dirty, stained, or abused merchandise. It is
recommended that a mattress pad be applied to your new bedding to insure the warranty terms. If you have not purchased a
mattress pad, please speak to your salesperson.
Transportation/Handling Fee: The "manufacturers' warranty" covers the merchandise only, and does not include transportation,
handling, or removal costs. A fee of $55.00 will be charged for each warranty exchange to cover the cost of transportation,
handling, and removal.
Mattress Height Concerns: If you accept delivery of your new mattress set and within 24 hours of delivery you realize that it is
too high, we will exchange the box spring/foundation for a low profile box spring/foundation or a low profile frame. This will
lower the height of the set by 3 to 5 inches, depending on the model. There will be a $55.00 fee for this service. The $55.00
includes transportation, handling and set-up in your home. Please call the Customer Service number below to set up the
exchange. Merchandise being exchanged must be free of stains, abuse, and/or damage.
Box Spring/Foundation Size Concerns: In some instances, a regular one-piece box spring/foundation may not fit in your home.
This may require a two-piece or split-box spring/foundation order. If you need a split-box spring or foundation, please call the
store you purchased your mattress set from to make arrangements for delivery and payment. This will increase the cost of your
purchase by $110.00, plus an additional $55.00 transportation and handling fee.
Special Orders: All special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. All special orders must be paid in full before delivery.
Any special order that is cancelled after 72 hours of ordering will result in the loss of the deposit. There is no satisfaction
guarantee on special orders. Exchanges based upon a warranty claim for a "special order" will be made only for a product that is
deemed defective by an independent inspection agency.
Deposit and Refunds: Home Budget Center does not offer refunds in the form of cash, only via credit cards or check. No
refunds will be issued after 30 days. Any and all deposits on purchases not delivered within a 12 month period after the original
purchase will be forfeited by you and applied to the company to cover administrative expenses pertaining to the invoice.
